L&T up in the green

Larsen & Toubro is in the green today morning. The stock rose over 3% to an intra day high at Rs.1136.90 and is now at Rs.1130 levels, up over 2.5%.
The stock is reacting positively to the news that its Railways unit won a major order worth Rs.1213 crore from the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India.
This news apart, there is another news doing the rounds – L&T is in talks with Adani group to sell its power plant in Punjab. This deal is being valued at Rs.3000 crore.
