Lupin hits new high

Lupin hit a new 52-week high today at Rs.685.70 after having opened the day at Rs.677; since then the stock has seen profit taking and the stock is now barely holding up in the green, up 0.29% at Rs.675.
The stock hit a high today after it reported that the US court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has ruled in its favor regarding appeal of a previous judgement by a lower court for Bayer AG’s Yaz oral contraceptive product. This means the company can now sell the generic version of Yaz in the American market.
