Mrs.Bectors gets tasty

Mrs.Bectors Food is attracting some attention today. The stock rose almost 3.5% to an intraday high at Rs.309.80 and is now trading at Rs.306 levels. Its 52-week high is at Rs.464.15.

The company, on Friday commenced commercial production of its new production line of Biscuits at Rajpura. This unit has an installed capacity of 12000/tpa.

This is a part of the overall expansion project it had undertaken, which has been delayed and is now scheduled to be completed by September 30, 2022.

The IPO, which opened in Dec’20, was priced at Rs.288 and it got listed at Rs.500; it continues to trade over and above the IPO price. It went down below the price in June, when it hit a 52-week low at Rs.245. In a month’s time, the stock price has gone up over 26%.
