There was good news from PSU, National Fertilisers Ltd (NFL). The company informed the stock exchanges on Friday evening about its record production.
The company stated that it has achieved highest-ever fertilizer sale of 12.85 Lakh MT in first quarter (April-June) of FY21. This is about 21.5% higher on a YoY.
Other than significant growth in Urea sale, P&K fertilizers also recorded a growth of 13% during the quarter.
In the month of June, 2020, the company sold 5.30 LMT of fertilizers, up by 15.5% (YoY).
This is a Miniratna company, making chemical fertilizers, organic fertilizers and industrial chemicals and the second largest producer of fertilizers in India.
The stock price has reacted positively to the news soaring 17% high to an intraday high at Rs.36, not too far from its 20% UC of the day at Rs.36.95. This is the highest single-day gain in 6 years for the stock. Its 52-week high is at Rs.40.25.
