NMDC spurts up 5%

NMDC, on 1st Jan declared its production for the month of Dec. India’s largest iron ore producer reported a 3.86 MT production for Dec’20, showing a growth of over 23% (YoY). Ans sales for the month rose 19%.
Its iron ore production upto end of Dec was at 21.83 MT, down 1% and sales rose 3% at 22.34 MT.
For Q3, iron ore production was up 12% at 9.61 MT and sales registered a growth of 12% at 9.44 MT.
The stock price rose over 5% today morning to Rs.122.30, with volumes going up almost two times. Its 52-week high stands at Rs.139.50.
