PNB Housing is the star performer today morning. With volumes surging over 2.5 times, the stock price rose 17.5% to Rs.524.85 and not too far away from today’s 20% UC of Rs.536. Market cap currently stands at Rs.8800 crore.
The company took everyone by surprise by posting a stellar performance for Q2FY20 – its net profit rose 45% (YoY) at Rs.367 crore, helped by a robust 36% jump in NII at Rs.628 crore. NIM also rose from 2.72% to 3.19%.
Asset quality is still to come of the woods but both, Gross as well as Net NPA remained well within 1%. Gross NPA rose from 0.84% to 0.45% while Net NPA rose from 0.35% to 0.65% (YoY).
Assets under management (AUM) have increased from f 73,482 crores as on September 30, 2018 to f 89,471 crores as on September 30, 2019 registering a growth of 22%. Loan book have increased from '66,792 crores as on September 30, 2018 to' 74,353 crores as on September 30, 2019 registering a growth of 11%.
