RailTel Corp is seeing a lot of activity today, with volumes showing a surge of 2.5-times. The stock price rose 4.5% to an intraday high at Rs.124.50. Its 52-week high is at Rs.189.45.
The stock is up after it announced that it has received work order from Ircon International.
This is for design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of tunnel communication system consisting of emergency call and service telephone, CCTV, tunnel radio and PA system in tunnel environment on the Dharam-Banihal section of the Jammu Kashmir Rail Link Project under Ferozepur division of Northern Railway at a cost of Rs 210.77 crore.
The entire work is to be completed in a period of 12 months.
