Subros chugs along on green tracks

Subros, is the leading manufacturer of AC systems or thermal products for automotive applications in India, in technical collaboration with Denso. In fact Denso of Japan and Suzuki Motors, each hold 13% stake in the company with 40% being held by the promoters, the Suri family.

The company announced yesterday after market closure that it had received its first major order of approximately Rs.15 crore from the Indian Railways- Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW), Varanasi to supply cab mounted HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) unit.

The company is on a solid financial ground. It had ended Q1FY16 with a 22% (YoY) rise in net profit at Rs.4 crore on a 2% increase in net sales at Rs.294 crore. Its market cap stands at Rs.540 crore.
