Vodafone Idea drops after rights

Vodafone Idea is among the top five losers on the BSE since today morning. The stock price dropped over 4% to Rs.16.40. The stock’s 52-week low stands at Rs.14.95.
The company’s rights issue closed yesterday. The Rs.25,000 crore rights issue was subscribed over 1 time.
Malaysia-based Axiata, one of the large public shareholders in Vodafone Idea, renounced its shares in favour of 20 foreign investors on April 11-12.
