Hindustan Copper (HCL) traded at 160 yesterday (though closed at Rs. 152), almost at its 52 week high, while stock was seen last trading at Rs.160 in the last week of November, 2012, about 8 years back. Share was ruling at Rs. 300 plus on 30-1-2012, about 9 years back. Incidentally HCL had its 52 week low of Rs. 23, about a year back on 04-5-2020.

Global Non Ferrous Metal cycle also seen having a BOOM cycle coming back after every 10 years. Aluminium, Copper, Zinc, and other Base Metals see them peaking every decade, with resurgence of demand as per business cycle. This time story is seen more bullish for Copper, due to emergence of EV theme, where copper consumption is seen 3x over conventional energy vehicles.

Can this make HCL to run past 300 mark in next one year?
Keep fingers crossed :)
