Navin Fluorine top gainer
Navin Fluorine International Ltd. (NFIL) rallied nearly 14% to a fresh record high of Rs. 5,747.95 today, marking its best single-day gain since March 2020, after the company reported a sharp rise in quarterly earnings.
The stock opened at Rs. 5,505, touched a high of Rs. 5,747.95, and was trading with a VWAP of Rs. 5,648.50, valuing the company at around Rs. 29,210 crore. With this surge, Navin Fluorine has gained more than 70% so far in 2025, emerging as one of the top gainers on the BSE.
The rally followed a broad-based performance across all business segments, as the company’s contract manufacturing and high-performance materials verticals emerged as key growth drivers. Consolidated revenue rose 46% (YoY) to Rs. 758 crore, while EBITDA more than doubled to Rs. 246 crore, aided by better capacity utilisation and favourable product mix. The EBITDA margin expanded by 12% to 32.4%, compared with 20.8% a year ago, reflecting stronger contribution from complex fluorinated intermediates and custom synthesis contracts.
Within its portfolio, the High Performance Products (HPP) segment delivered revenue of Rs. 404 crore, up 38%, supported by demand for advanced fluoropolymers and intermediates. The Specialty Chemicals business grew 35% to Rs. 219 crore, while the Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) division nearly doubled to Rs. 134 crore, driven by validation orders and new client additions. The growing share of CDMO business has been instrumental in improving both earnings visibility and margin stability.
On its post-results call, the management guided for margins to remain near 30% for FY26, with an upward bias for FY27 as scaling benefits and cost efficiencies begin to flow from recently commissioned Dahej and Dewas facilities. Navin Fluorine also expects to achieve CDMO revenues of about USD 100 million by FY27, highlighting the confidence in its global client pipeline and technology expertise.
Navin Fluorine, part of the Padmanabh Mafatlal Group, manufactures specialty fluorochemicals, refrigerants, and fluorinated intermediates catering to the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, and industrial sectors. The company continues to strengthen its presence in high-value fluorination chemistry and CDMO partnerships, positioning itself among the leading players in India’s specialty chemicals landscape.
