Wockhardt rises like 'Sputnik'

Wockhardt is one bright star today morning. The stock price rose almost 8% higher to hit an intraday at Rs.527, with volumes doubling up. Its 20% UC for the day is at Rs.391.45.

The stock price has reacted positively to the news that the company has entered into an agreement with Enso Healthcare DMCC (Enso), a company incorporated in Dubai, UAE and Human Vaccine LLC (HV), a wholly owned subsidiary of the sovereign wealth fund of the Russian Federation (RDIF), for the manufacture and supply of the Sputnik V/Sputnik Light vaccine against Covid-19. It will manufacture and supply to Enso upto 620 million doses.
