Eros Intnal a super hit today!

Eros International is running like a super duper hit film today! Opening higher, the stock is currently up over 4% at Rs.237 levels and this is after hitting an intra day high at Rs.239.

The stock is in the limelight after the company announced yesterday post market hours that its on-demand entertainment portal, Eros Now, has acquired the world wide rights of 10 shows of Zee TV. The company has stated that this will mow mean Eros Now will be able to show Zee's television content ranging from serials and soaps to reality shows. This means members of Eros Now will get to watch the content of 10 shows of Zee TV, without having to pay any extra subscription, which in turns means it could get it more new subscribers and retain existing ones.
